What is a pledge?

A pledge is a prospective member who is working to become an active member of a sorority or a fraternity.

What is Mu Epsilon Theta?

Mu Epsilon Theta is a non-Greek sorority built on Catholic principles. As a group, we work together to promote spirituality, service, and sisterhood through various projects and activities each semester.

Who may join? A prospective member must:

  1. Be a female currently enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin
  2. Not be an active member of any Panhellenic UT Greek Society. (Does NOT include honorary, service, or professional organizations.)
  3. Be able to meet the financial obligations of the chapter.Actively participate fully in the pledge programs
  4. Actively participate fully in the pledge programs.
  5. Attend meetings and functions.
  6. Be active the semester following the pledge period.
